2024!

'Twas a very busy and creative year (so far!). Four new books just seemed to spill out: Ritual Horn, Rags, Art Forms and Unnatural Fantasies and Conjured Menagerie.

There were also hundreds (really thousands!) of new digital images, prints. and artistamp issues. Holy cow!

Slide shows below: top one, digital work; second below, mailart/artistamps.

A Little Story

During lockdown, Nicole started building things out of leftover "art junk" on her parking strip. "The Most Famous Artist on Pluto," Carl Chew, walked by often and began leaving presents of his artwork on her porch. Carl was her "mysterious art elf" until they sparked a friendship into the piece below.

Carl is one of those old visual artists you see leading their dogs up and down the street each evening. During lockdown he spied an incredible artwork beginning to bloom in front of Nicole's house. As the months proceeded, he was amazed to see this masterpiece change and morph! He left art offerings. And that's how Carl met artist Nicole Dillman. Then she asked him to collaborate on a piece together!

Nicole built the structure with parts from a rotting coffee table and free cabinet frames off a curbside.

Carl based the drawings on his conversations with Nicole, the love of children that he shares with her, and a bit of whimsy.
